Inwater survey of vessel ‘Some Doubt Shurly’.
Summary:

“ I was unable to gain full
access to the stern area and the yachts machinery at this time.”

“ The searchlight appears to be intact”

“ The ( Wette Ragge) Moisture Meter indicated some evidence of excessive moisture readings in sections of the hull......”

“ Further inspection, possibly at lowest astronomical tide , is highly recommended to the yachts machinery and stern gear “

“ there is believed to be perhaps more to this vessel than meets the eye(etc etc )at this time... etc..”

Invoice £675 please .

Caveat Empty: this is not a watertight survey

Back in the 60s there was a yacht broker whose adverts (print only in those days) always included one or two boats like this one - with brutally honest descriptions! They were usually quite amusing, and certainly meant that people read the adverts. I think that an estate agent in London has used a similar tactic.

Looking at the number on the bow could it be a fishing license for sale with a free boat ?
