Should crew be spanked when they\'re naughty?

Is this an approriate way to signal one's displeasure and a suitable means of reinforcing lessons learnt?

Oh no its a genuine enquiry .. I gave NigNick a spanking for spilling a cup o' soup and he sort of inferred it was'nt quite the done thing. So I'm just seeking clarity.

He's probably right. Spanking only seems to be allowed between consenting adults these days, unlike when I was at school. Though I must say, taking a cane along to chastise the crew shows enormous foresight on your part. Or did you use the boathook?

Of course, it may be a troll, in the hope of starting a dispute about which is the optimum backside for spanking - modern and beamy (Arse Wide and Bloated) or traditional and heavily built (Middle Aged Bum). We shall see....

I was going to use a dinghy oar but could't find it so I used the outboard instead.

Only female crew can be spanked! It's in the Navy rules and regulations 1788 edition. Still part of Queens regulations today.
Men have to be lashed to a grating, the "cat let out the bag" and given 20 lashes!

My partner, ex-RN who had a command, often beats us all untill morale on his vessel improves!!!!
