Shotley- Winter Berth?

Have been thinking about staying in this winter as no major external work to do on boat. Went to Shotley today to ask and yes there is availability but couldn't tell me the cost! Last winter was £80per m inc VAT for 1 Nov to 31 Mar - do any Shotley residents know what is being proposed this year?

So long as I can get an easy access berth!

They have not published next years rates yet I am hoping they will befor the VAT increase, but would expect it to be the same as this year +3% perhaps.

I had a look at winter prices and found that Tichmarsh was a lot less expencive than any of the other marinas around the Orwell area.

NO increase at Foxs for the 3rd year running. Plus a deal on lay up & offers on work done .

WOW that is £140 cheaper for me! Part of the reason for thinking of Shotley was a shorter drive, unfortunately Titchmarsh is further! Still worth a thought though - thanks.

Not just vacant Winter berths, they also have several empty berths now. When we first enquired about a berth at Shotley, in '98, there was a long waiting list, as there was at Levington.

I signed of for the waiting list at Levington back in 1999 and still haven't heard from them to tell me they have a berth available. So I must have been 'on' the waiting list for 11 years now, is that a record?

lol, might be Simon. I enquired at Levington last year and they had empty berths, went to Shotley in the end though.

When I enquired at Levington about a berth in March they asked me if I was on the waiting list.
They had me on the list with previous - registered in 2003.
