Although there's sadly no clubhouse, Shotley does have a very active sailing club. Shotley Point Yacht Club. You'd always be welcome as my guest on any club trip :encouragement:

I'll happily buy a round in the 'wreck, it's not like we'll be eating there !

We also joined SPYC in the summer, so looking forward to taking part on some of the cruises now we are based there.
