Do you have the club open every day with beverages & food

Foxs yacht club has it's own clubhouse/bar/restaurant. SPYC does not, it uses the Shipwreck.

Thank you
FMYC lease the building from Oyster Properties & as with commercial property leasing, FMYC are responsible for maintenance & repairs.
So its very important to maintain a good membership base + fund raising events during the year to fund this.
The FMYC Committee, work hard to make FMYC work for all members & visitors.
Last year a total galley refit, new roof covering, all new carpets throughout + the commercial dishwasher went duff so an unexpected large cost additional club cost.
FMYC open 7 days & Friday & Saturday evenings, for food & beverages by the caterers who are under contract to FMYC.

FMYC is an excellent club house and a classic example of what can be achieved by ordinary people power. The nosh is good value and decent stuff. I haven't been for a year now as we're based further north but it's surely the best berth holder run clubhouse on the EC.

Agree it is a great, well run clubhouse. Trouble is that the marina is like a motorway service station and there is nothing much within walking distance. Probably why Foxes let the clubhouse on a peppercorn.
