Short cruise to Beachy Head

I can remember the Crumbles, before the Eastbourne marina was built. We used to shoot .303s across the firing range.

And then every winter, we had a cross-country race there. Nothing saps your legs more than running on wet shingle.

Thanks for the comments - it's a rare day when there isn't a cloud in the sky and I'm able to get

I set up the camera on a tripod and tied it down to the bow cleat, but in some of the shots the strap was blowing front of the lens.

It was forecast to be slight to moderate but seemed much calmer. The last few trips I've had its been like this, but obviously I'm choosing the good days to go and have fun. I dare say there are quite a few that are a far bit rougher.

Was def nice and flat for you, Last Monday although sea state was smooth there was still bit of a swell at the head

We're due to come along to Brighton in a couple of weeks from Eastbourne

That was a very enjoyable video. Thanks for posting. Those cliffs look gorgeous.

Did you stabilise the video during editing? Such nice and smooth shots.

You'll like it. There is always something cool about cruising around the pier (though it was sad news about the one in Eastbourne today). Have a safe journey!

Glad you like it. No stabilising, just really calm seas and glorious sunshine - just the way I like it.
