shore based training in the med?

After doing a small amount of dinghy sailing I've decided I'd like to learn to sail a yatch. Only problem is that not all of the family wants to sail (I know, mad aren't they!). Does anyone know of good holiday bases around the med where we could have a holiday that is Villa based but where those of us that want to learn to sail can do so?
