ships rubber stamps

Slightly off topic, but...

...but that reminds me of a friend at a party in a Swiss village. He fell out of a window onto a roof, and then rolled down the roof into a snowdrift. Woke up with symptoms of hypothermia and a broken arm, and staggered towards the nearest place he could see where he might get help. Instead, the door guards merely bashed him on the head with a rubber stamp and turned him away. Hypothermia worsening, he tried another place, and was turned away. Nobody would speak to him.

It turns out he had had "Drunk" stamped on his forehead, thus denying him entry to any of the open establishments in the town!

I have one, use it a lot in France (if under the commercial boat scheme). Essential imho. I have 2 actually, one is the ships stamp and one is for the company in which the boat is registered. Gottem online for a few quid, self inking
