Shipmate rs 8000 wanted

Hello, My Shipmate rs 8000 has developped a fault: a permanent hissing sound as if the squelch control is not working. Can anyone advise me about any possible repairer in the UK, or better, where to find a good second-hand example.
I reside in Geneva, but could give a french postal address to simplify postage (within Europe). Jordina, my Sadler 34 is not happy without the rs 8000.

Although I would imagine the repair costs would be prohibitive if it is the CB radio looking one.....

I may have an RS 8100 - the one with the remote handset and hide away main unit - for sale.... PM me.

thank you, I will wait a couple of days to see if an 8000 turns up. Are the arial connections the same for both? The 8100 might interest me. Please let me know the price and condition. Can you send to France, or a friend could collect from Bournemouth area. I was originally from Bournemouth and still have friends there.
