Excellent food, though phone and book first. About 200 yards up the lane past the Itchenor Harbour Office, but at low water, there's only the very last bit of the bontoon in the water, and the mud's foul.

Errrr, the Pontoon is not tidal restricted.

No, I know. But some miserable old git told us to leave the tenders inside the pontoon, not on the hammerhead. The hammerhead was still afloat, but only the last six foot of the pontoon had water around it and the tenders were 10 feet from the water when we got back.

Amanda nearly wet herself laughing when I stepped down onto the 'beach'...

I was working down that way last week near the witterings. Went there for a spot o lunch. Didn't think it was as good as it used to be. Used to launch at the end of the lane off the hard, didn't think you could moor on the pontoon there. Was told it was for waiting only and for the water taxi. Is the taxi still there?

Been there quite a lot over last couple of years and was there Friday night this week. Food was always OK'ish to fairly good but this time it was very good - looks like they reduced the menu, although still enough choice, presumably to concentrate on fewer items.

Taxi's still there. from the number of tenders tied up there, I presume it's OK to leave them there...

Well I think it was perfectly reasonable to ask you to move them, If you had left them on the hammerhead no body could have moored up there!! And it is pretty obvious that you leave tenders on the inside seeing as there are so many there.

Weekend before last they were not even taking food orders for at least half an hour.

Not even for three starving and dissapointed kids..

We tried to tie the tender up on the inside of the hammerhead, but were told to bugger off by some old sod as that was HIS spot (he was just getting out of his tender at the time, and we were nowhere near it...).
