So am I the only person to get asked about emergency childbirth at sea on their yacht master exam?

don't suppose you were heavily pregnant at the time - wouldn't surprise me!

I haven't seen a recommendation for the first aid kit of including a pregnancy test (or Lidl's condoms, for that matter!)...

My Mrs discovered a pack of condoms in our First Aid Kit. I couldn't remember what they were for (apart from the obvious), so I was in trouble for a while.

Excellent waterproofing for wire connections when wrapped in tape, can be used instead of PTFE tape if required... Have your excuses ready...

Just tell her they're for thrashing the brains out of any willing crew.
She won't believe you, but if/when the opportunity arises you can assume you had permission.
