Ship anchored off Minehead

If she is owned by Hanjin South Korea she has nowhere to go as company went through the hoop and all her ships are barred from intrnational ports.

I read a BBC news article earlier today, possibly the one above. They were talking to a skipper in Singapore. I'm interested to hear what was happening with the cargo on these ships. Photos of the one in the article show lots of containers.

You are correct container ships do carry quite a lot of containers :)

I wonder if they need feeding ?

I'll have a word with Rotary and the RNLI

I would hope the Mission to Seamen are onto the case. They do a great job, and we had to use them a few times with ships detained in port where the company couldn't care less.

I did a passage on a Hanjin ship up the channel once, never again. Great crew, but on the third day of fish heads and rice I couldn't have cared less that the pilot boat nearly called off the disembark due to sea conditions, I'd have jumped onto the bloody thing.
