Shiny Bottom

Those planks look absolutely perfect. It's in an incredibly good condition. The crazed finish is all part of the patina - I'd be inclined to just rub it back slightly to clean it up, and then varnish over the top. If it was a violin that would be a highly prized part of its' value.
Thanks for posting your photos - and it's nice to realise from the responses so many of us still appreciate a traditional little dinghy like this.
 
I'm with you there. Just a bit of TLC rather than a full-blown "as new" refurb.
There are 3 scarfed joints in planks that have lifted. One quite badly. But I'll let it take up first and see if they swell up smooth out. If not I'll attend to them during winter.
