Shhhhhhh.........

Well, I bought SWMBO a Drysuit for her kayaking, and looked at some Waeco fridges for the boat and had a chat with the chap on the Eberspacher stand about servicing D5L heaters.

Oh, and I failed to meet up with "No Regrets"!

Don't want to make too much noise as its so quiet round here at the moment.....
but, did anybody actually make any meaningful purchases at Excel or were your reserves wiped out by transport and sustenance?

Er...no!....same as No Regrets, £100 for a day out to get there and eat.

This was first time in twelve years I had to buy tickets.

Won't go again unless I get free tickets as went home early due to frankly being very bored.

Less and less to see every year, and if you wanted chandlery use the interweb.

They put all the boats saily and motor into one hall so you can tell how much it has shrunk.

Havent missed a show in 37 years, this definitely rates as the worst I have ever attended - p1$$ poor.

Seat slider at a reduced show/cash price.

And free parking parked in the Premier inn over the road from the car park and their machine was broken so it advised all that it was foc until further notice.

You mean spend actual money, how quaint.Due to being much in demand, assorted stands were fighting over the privilege to ply me with champers and stuff and being not in the habit of carrying money around was unable to buy any tickets and had to lower myself and accept free ones.
Regretably was unable to locate a couple of deck drains and as the Squadron 42 was already sold did not spent a bean.
