Bliss all the crowds are starting to disappear, it's like I'm the only person who uses the boat over winter.

Any of you guys live in Chichester Harbour anywhere?

also cold & wet

sailed into northney last night after a fast passage from boulogne, cold, damp and not a lot of fun but as you say, not a soul in sight though we did see cabin lights from one boat moored in the channel north of hisc - was that you??
incidentally, ever tried to close a coastline on nov 5th- we did identify the bar beacon eventually among all the other red white and green flashes!

Re: Red, Green and White Lights

mmm I can imagine I once had to navigate into harbour (think it was Irvine or Girvan..) which had a Disco/bar on the Quayside.. Bit scary when what you think are the nav lights turn out to be a Disco!

Re: Red, Green and White Lights

Weymouth springs to mind, with the red and green neon lights of the Oasis disco or something similar close to the entrance. what with no moon ,the sound of the surf on the beach and a first time entry? scary eh!
