We are now officially owners of

a) A beautiful (to us anyway) Moody 31

b) A large hole where the bank balance used to be.

Doesn't the purchase process seem to take ages?

We're moving her to Ipswich this weekend. So if you're somewhere off the East Coast or in the Orwell and see a M31 with a middle aged couple aboard, looking slightly harrassed, please

a) Smile & wave

b) Give us a very wide berth

Come on give us a clue with the name, and I will rush out of the Crouch to come and blow raspberries at you. Having a single handed weekend, and practicing autopilot tacking, so I need the space to cock up a bit.

Good luck and fair winds - purchase does solve the problem of future Xmas presents, cause a boat always needs something else.

Congratulations John, I know you were looking forward to this day. By the way, "Prophecy" went this morning, on it's way to Lowestoft with it's new owner - should be there Sunday/Monday I think, they wern't going to rush. They are sailing it to the Aegean next year!

At least the hole recently made in our savings account by the purchase of a new boat has been filled in somewhat!!

Well done Nicho - Prophecy sold and left pretty quickly after all. I guess you and SWMBO are glad not to keep looking at her sat on the car park.

A bit concerned for the new owners, though - she (Prophecy) won't know where she is, once she gets out of the Solent ! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
