Bob on Rovin has used Sherlock Foams a few times, have a word with him, he always go back so they can't be bad.

I had a similar pvc covered foam pontoon fender I got about 10 years ago. Still absolutely fine, so although not from these suppliers, they looked pretty similar and materials look the same and it really has lasted.

Which begs the question why "Bob and Rovin" keep going back with repeat business..........
It's actually of interest to me. Because I am on an estuary pontoon we get small swells and wakes from time to time. Conventional pontoon fenders do not last as the boat will rub up against them and with friction roll them under the pontoon or simply shear them off, but I'd dearly like a solution to this as conventional fenders although better in this application concentrate the scuff marks onto a repeated small area (and exacerbated by foam grit). By end of season it is easy to tell where my fenders sit.
