Shell Rimula RT4X 15W-40 for Yanmar 2GM20 (last time i used R4 L)

the last oil change i used Shell Rimula RT4 L 15W-40, I ordered that reference again from Aurocarparts and picked up the above Shell Rimula RT4 X 15W-40... I quereied the difference and they said they have it as the same oil, possibly a new name and bottle. Old one was silver new is black

Is it the same?

Either will be fine as they are the right grade and meet the normal minimum spec (API CF) for your engine. Look at the sort of approval it has for engines far more demanding than yours. I expect the difference is in the mixture of additives.
