Been watching a few tutorials on YouTube and it looks fairly straightforward to set up. I’d be interested to hear of people’s experiences with it. I ask as, like many, I find my tillerpilot struggles in anything stronger than a F4.

I have used it a lot, it works well but you need to practice a lot and get it ready. You will have to balance the sails for Sheet to Tiller steering to work well; is fun. I had it working with the genoa and with the main. Using the genoa was tricky, connecting to the main was more robust. However, you are stating that your tillerpilot struggles above f4; it should not make much difference between say F2 and F6; the problem is to eliminate weatherhelm thus ensuring that the helm is light; balancing the sails to reduce weatherhelm is critical. In both cases, whether "Sheet to Tiller" or Electric Autopilot, the helm has to be very light.
