She 27 Alternative???

She 27

Had a She 27, which I sold because of the space issue.......and have regretted it ever since. Fantastic boats, and beautiful to look at too. You can make them fairly comfortable, at least I had worked out how you could. Wish I had now.
I would certainly have another one, especially since the kids have flown the nest.
Go for it!

She 27s are great looking boats, they look as if they are going fast even when moored, Did you see the article in PBO December 2010 comparing various 1/4 tonners, including the She 27, worth a look Lots of suggestions on here for various 1/2 tonners, mostly all sensible choices. What about a Sadler 25? Accommodation probably better, not certain how the performance compares, but a reliable performance anyway. Here's a picture of the 2 on adjacent moorings, the Sadler is a bit further away and coincidentally, has just come on the market.

Any Van de Stadt design would tick your boxes, and a Prospect 9m would be about the same length of the She. The Prospect is very spacious for it's size with 6'2'' headroom down below. They have a good turn of speed and will handle pretty much anything you can throw at them. Reasonably priced boats ranging £10-£13k, and they came in fin, bilge and triple keel options.
