Hi

Please could someone confirm?

I am getting conflicting information, even BWB contradicting themselves!

I understand it costs £25 (!) to lock into and another £25 to lock back out of Sharpness.

Our plan is to spend a few days on the canal up and around Gloucester.

BWB tell me I need to buy a river and canal licence @ £24.95 for the week.

So far so good, total cost £75

A few peeps have told me if I pre-purchase the canal and river licence I get away without paying the £25 each way.

Please does anyone have a definative answer?

Cheers

Not got any information on any of that but to get the short term licence you also need to make a 'boat condition declaration'. Just say yes to everything probably gives the right answers.

I thought I might get away with that for Bristol Harbour but no I have to have the safety survey.

Have a good trip, this was some of us waiting to get out of sharpness and coming in trough the piers

Boat is but I'm not at the moment. I'll PM you when I'm around and hopefully meet for a beer or something similar?
