sharpness too watchet..wot do i need too know

Sharpness to Watchet on one tide sounds a little challenging. Or at least, there's no fat on it. Don't forget that LW Watchet is less than 5 hours after HW Sharpness. Distance is about 48 Nm so you need to average 10 knots. At the start and end the tide will be zero, but of course it will be about 4 knots for the middle two hours or so.

I think I would probably prefer to make a stop at Cardiff en route. Then remember to make compensation for the cross-tide on the way from Cardiff to Watchet.

Tide starts ebbing quickly At Sharpness straight after HW. If he has to push against an hour of flood at Watchet the stream will be still weak. It is doable if he can do over 6 knots through the water and doesn't stop. The weather has to be perfect stopping anywhere will need a bigger window of good weather.
