I am off this weekend to Shanghai, for Christmas. Does anyone know where one can buy boat bits in the city. For example Astro sextants, amongst other things, are made in China and the yuan is tied to the US $. It has gone from 11 to the £ to over 16 today so there should be some bargains.

Last time I was there I bought some heavy North Face Gortex jackets for £20!
