Shafts v IPS

Thing is when its say 15 - 20 years old I can completely service or overhaul all parts of a shaft boat with loads of places to supply the bits. Not sure that will be the case for an IPS system.

Great now, but residuals when the lower cost set of us self maintaining boaters have to take it on, not sure a conversion to shafts is likely to be at all realistic. Therefore great when < 10 years, but will there be any value left after say 15- 20 years, e.g will there be a buyer at all for it - I suppose we will have to watch this forum and see.

If that is Zarco that you refer to gonna have to disagree I think he is too old, come on down Alex Rins, plus he is Spansih and it's a Spanish Repsol team!!

Rins a talent indeed, repsol spainish but team based in Belgium I thought, and lets face it their past riders been from around the world so I doubt they will push for a Spaniard.. tbh they have a no 2 with Danny, I guess they want a change & someone to push Marc.. sorry, massive thread drift, will stop.
