Shadow 26 Parts

Hi All,
I have just purchased a Shadow 26 Motor Cruiser
Twin Volvo AQ131C Engines on Twin Legs, need a little bit of work on it but fingers crossed a lovely boat

The reason for the Thread does anyone know of a Forum dedicated to the Shadow or a Parts supplier for internal Parts such as Hatch Locks, Table Mounts etc
The issue is that the Manufacturer VICTORIA MARINE went out of business back around 2005 and the following company that manufactured the river version does not have stock parts

Yep, there's only ever been a limited number of suppliers for boat hardware so if you post pics we can see if we can help.

I had a river boat version built in Norfolk, the lock, but not the handles were identical to yours. The doors etc were supplied by Trend Marine, Catfield, Norfolk.

I was the purchasing director of Victoria Rampart for the majority of the time Shadows were built. I don't have any stock lists now, but if you have trouble obtaining anything I may be able to point you in the right direction from memory although it was nearly 30 years ago now! The main doors and locks were produced by Trend Marine.

Just had email back from Leia at Trend Marine stating they do not recognise the lock, bit gutted about that dont know where to go now Itchenseadog once i start work on the interior will probs be in touch thanks for the offer of help

Are the Doors Glass or Perspex as not really had a good look I may be able to fit another lock if i can drill it, Toughend glass is a NO NO so hope its perspex, unless anyone has any other suggestions

Mine were perspex, you need to take care what you ( or your staff) clean them with.

Is it a sliding door lock you need as I cannot see it clearly in you photo. I may have something similar will have a look in Shed tomorrow and sort a couple of photos pm me your email for ease of sending photos
