Well, I'd rather buy something from XYZsolutions than XYZtroubles, anyway...
Not that I don't see your point of course, but IBM used to be a much better recognised brand than Apple, in a not so distant past.
And behind the acronym, as everybody know, there was a self-defining name. Just saying....

I prefer the term "Crowd Sourcing" for ideas!

When you get a name sorted I can recommend www.crowdspring.com for the logo. Have used them before for a couple of projects and its a good way to ensure that you don't get bogged down in the aesthetic and vanity thereof.

And I agree with JFM entirely, (now there's a thing!). We've done extremely well with Cornish and Devonshire cottage holidays but looking back, it would perhaps have been wise to create a hierarchy map of what you want to provide now but also where it might go in the future and then camp on that...if we had gone for Cottage Holidays then who knows, perhaps we could have bought a bigger boat.
'Course if you are committed to niche and are never going to have the appetite to broaden then own the niche but make sure you have the critcal mass, you've gone out to a very narrow group here.

Sounds exciting and will enjoy watching progress, it would be good to see it up and running prior to my detailing falling off!

Marine Solutions is run by a friend and is indeed an established company, small but established.

Well I reckon the short list is

I ask myself what name would be the best for beautiful flat cut stainless, back lit letters, underwater lighting, colhel's carbon fibre flag staffs, etc.

Not to keen on using my own surname. Boat Mods sounds a bit 'plasti dip'. So unless anyone has a better idea, it's got to be Evo Marine. Thanks Jimmy!

If they were to start trading and contact Nominet you could easily have evomarine.co.uk taken off you.
