Another question on the 701 10 timer
Is it possible to fit an external remote switch
Logic says as there are 4 wires
-v
+v
sw
data

If i put an external switch betwen +v and sw would it work ok

What I want to do is to be able to switch it on via txt message as I can on my heating at home using a gsm switch

Some are switched, i.e. constat current and some are signal, i.e. momentary push so you need to determine that first. None have wire, that's what fences are made from so just identify the appropriate cable and whether it's constant return or positive or momantary signal (feed or return) and off you go.
