setting a new barometer - where do i get the air pressure?

May have already been mentioned but

http://en.allmetsat.com/metar-taf/united-kingdom-ireland.php?icao=EGMC

gives the current weather observations at London Southend airport. Well, I say current but the update interval seems to be fairly slow (an hour maybe?)

If you pick a day when Southend, Stansted and Wattisham are all showing the same pressure (1013 at 08:20 this morning for example!) you won't be far out in Bradwell

Look East, BBC1 weather forecast, 6.30 on Thursday gives a barometer reading. Of course it covers the whole of East Anglia but how accurate do you want to be?

What is more they usually mention if the pressure gradient is very flat, so reading applicable over a wide area, or steep and not so.

thanks - XC Weather seems to solve the problem. When I asked at the Marina they weren't sure if their barometer was accurate. agree its the chnage and rate of change that's importnat but wanted to at least start froma reasonable approximation
