Bit late to reply jhr, but the biggest differences you'll find between flotilla holidays are created by the staff on the spot.
And, since flotilla skippers, their engineers and their mates are recruited for their high levels of initiative, they don't always follow their comany's line on the levels of service etc to provide - they look upon company policy as more of a 'broad guide' to behaviour. Sometimes this is a good thing. Sometimes not.
The things the company controls - location, boat size, boat age and price - are most likely the things which have caused you to select your particular holiday. There's a lot of competition out there, and if the company have been around for three years or more, they'll deliver.
Your biggest variable in holiday qualilty be the crew of the flotilla. Generally this will be good, but it's largely independent of the company!
If you're thinking April, May or September it's worth bearing in mind that the Sporades area has a shorter season than the Ionian; the September thunderstorms can be quite impressive!

Cockroach infested badly maintained old boats
[/ QUOTE ] Well, I'll feel at home then!
Boat is a 3-(I think)-year-old SO35. I have signed up, so my biggest concern now is that it appears I am going to overlap with Another Forumite who will get home before me, and no doubt post loads of rubbish on here about my (lack of) boat handling skills. So - if you should see anything - it's a pack of lies. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Going in August, so should be reasonably settled with fresh breezes in the afternoon. Yee-hah!
