Well, the fact that those who know better than anyone else might be biased is hardly a good reason for asking folks who possibly don't have a clue, in my books. In fact, believe it or not, I came across several owners who fall in this category in spades (not just with reference to IPS, obviously).
Regardless, the feedbacks I previously told to have had from a couple of VP technicians about IPS were always in the contest of generic friendly-ish talks, where it was crystal clear to them that I neither had an IPS boat, nor I was interested to go for one.
But each to their own, of course.
As an aside, out of idle curiosity, which IPS powered commercial boats are you aware of?
