It's 2 weeks after SIBS and you'd think all the brokers would be manning the phones in force this Saturday morning to handle a flood of enquiries from punters like me. Er, no.
I've just phoned 3 well known brokers and no answer, no answer phone, no message, no nothing. When will these people learn that we live in a 24/7 society in which people want to do business at a time that suits the customer not at a time which suits the broker

It would be much more convieniant if you did your sailing nine to five, five days a week so the brokers and marina staff could have the weekend off./forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Re: Service with a snarl.

If you had just spend a week or so fighting off a bunch of tightwads who all want a deal which makes you no profit at all, you would need a couple of weeks off.
Any decent company should train its customers to only present themselves on weekdays, pref just before lunch if possible.
Far too much of this work work business.Time for the idle and workshy among us to start fighting back.3 hour days is a good start and no Mondays.

Just hold tight dear it will not be so rough when we get round the corner, trust me.

Funnily enuff, I said to a friend this week that I could see an opening for starting a consultancy that would teach firms how to develope customer service, this was brought about as on Wednesday, Orange sent me a bill and a reminder for a fone I never had, carphone wharehouse sold me a fone and O2 package that did not work, ANC would not deliver my parcel and the Comet money back office would not give me my money back.

Is it me (steady) or does this nation have severe service problems?

For sale, 1970 Triumph Spitfire-sold, 1947 Lambretta, 1922 Great grandmother, PM for details.

Three weeks ago we viewed 3 boats with 3 differant brokers . We asked some sensible questions regarding each craft and was promised a call to confirm the answers. Still no calls so guess what we are now buying another boat somewhere else from another (actually keen and helpful broker) . We sold our last boat through an excellent broker so at least they are not all dire.
