Having recently praised Garmin and Icom for their excellent customer services I feel I must add Comar to the list.

I recently bought a second-hand AIS transponder which arrived minus the data cable. I contacted Comar asking where I might buy one from and they sent me one FOC. Sort of restores your faith that their are still some companies out ther that go the extra mile!

I have photographic evidence of Phil preparing for extreme bog snorkelling.......

It is with great thanks to Him that some of the PD NW Mob enjoyed the luxury of a working head this weekend...

And a farewell party for James........

Full report and pics to follow.

Thomas I had AIS receiver on Mirrormile, was impressed so thought I'd get the gizmo to let other folk see me too.

Sea cock sorted, the dock is not recommended for diving activities!

By the way, some toe rag tried to break into our boat last week, luckily they dodn't succeed but they managed to get into another one. Getting to be a bit of a problem around North Wales patch, added defences are planned!

As some will know, poor old James had to turn back after injuring his hand which he has recently had an operation on. Hope it mends soon so he can carry on with his plans.

Prince Madog will be pleased:D

Spoken to James big setback with wrist so he maybe travelling to Scotland on Little Ship, then returning for Saskia. From a selfish point of view..... The company will be good for me and he has promised he will be able to push buttons on the auto helm.

We may then return to get Saskia up there...... I have told him that he will be burning diesel and not using flappy things.

Good trip for you Phil
