Re: 6

One to set course for engine bay, another to make passage plan, two to make nasty cold cup of tea, fifth to unearth the rusty charter-special all-in-one wrench-screwdriver, sixth to call seastart and report back ghastly news that there is no spark plug in a diesel engine.

Unfortunately, it is the same number for stinkies - they wouldn't bother with the passage plan but more swmbo's would be involved somehow, possibly slagging off the skipper for not having proper maintenance. Alright then, not having maintenance with someone like that nice man who was round looking at that boat over there yesterday, he ws was very pleasant, why not use him? Well, even if he wasn't an engineer he seemed very pleasant and a lot cleaner than that man who came round last time with dirty fingernails and left behind all the dirty old filters just lying there on newspaper that we had to tidy away.

Re: Verdad.

the bloke i bought my boat from insisted on me selling a spare set of plugs and an almost new distributor cap for my Volvo A40D.I beat him down a lot and got them for an absolute give away price. No body gets one over on me.

Just hold tight dear it will not be so rough when we get round the corner, trust me.
