Series 1 Tide Marine PSS shaft seal

I've started to disassemble my Series 1 Tide Marine PSS shaft seal in order to replace it.

So far I've removed the plastic gaitor but it doesn't seem obvious how to remove the sealed unit from the shaft. I was expecting to find some grub screws or similar to unscrew so I could slide it off.

Has anyone removed one of these?

There should be a couple of holes in the stainless steel rotor. In them are grub screws. Take them out, and there are more grub screws underneath, that are actually doing the holding on the shaft.

Tides Marine and PSS are two quite different seals. Which one do you mean?

If this is the one you have - which is nothing like a PSS - then the seal housing just slides off the shaft. It has lip seals moulded into it which do the sealing
