Confirmed, Canal du Centre will effectively close to through traffic on September 8th

Well that's it settled. Following recommendation on here we've booked into Auxonne for the winter and should be there in about 2 weeks from now.
That gets us away from the Rhone so we do not have to worry about that in the spring.
