Selva outboard advice

Hi all,
Can anyone give me some help with some info & opinion?
I've been offered a Selva 100hp outboard & want to know more about these things. It's sufficient to say that if it was a Merc or a Mariner, I'd be overjoyed at the price. Apparently it's a 1995. The serial is 490116. A friend looked at it & said it looks like it's had a good life so far & it has all the service receipts from day 1.
Can anyone confirm that it is what the seller says it is (I even forgot to ask if it's oil intected - how stupid an I)?
Can anyone tell me any good / bad points about these units?
Also, the seller reckons that parts are plentiful & not expensive - anyone got any opinions on this comment?

I had a look at the site. It's great if you want to buy new but not so useful for the 1995 stuff. I appreciate your input anyway. Can anyone give me any quick comments or opinion?
