Hi

We just spent 2 years away with chldren aged 6-9 over the period. Formal education servies don't come cheap but there are plenty of free resources you can download before you go, at the younger age at least where my expereince was. If you go to the Government dept furher education site you can down day by day lesson plans with Q&A for numeracy, science projects, art/geog/history etc. have a browse, take you pick and download it to a laptop before you go. Takes a bit of time but all free. My headteacher pointed me to it before we left. Link is http://www.standards.dfes.gov.uk/schemes.
