I received the following in response to an ad for a MF 530 :

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in my boat. last price is £3750.
I bought this Boat when I was living with my ex-husband in UK.
I recently got a divorce after I found out that for the past 3 years he had an affair with another woman.
It was a painful divorce for me, but at least I got my kids. Now I returned with them to my hometown Rome Italy. I wanted to keep the boat, but my younger kid cries every time he sees it so I want to sell it as fast as I can, to end this chapter of our lives.

I already found a reputable delivery company specialized in this kind of transaction and they can take care of everything for me ( including the boat registration on your name ).
They even allow the buyer to test the boat before paying for it and I think it is the fair thing to do.
If you are interested, please let me know your name and address so I can forward them to the delivery company and see the total costs to your location.

Thank you and hope to hear from you today

Attached were pics of a well presented 530 on a newish trailer with a new looking 60hp 4 stroke- obviously taken in UK. The lady seller says the boat is located in Rome.

Observations welcome.

its a scam I had the same type of hard luck story on a cheap sealine, in the first email seller said he was a squaddy and could not leave barracks to facilitate the sale hence having the boat delivered after I deposited the cash in google wallet. Further searches showed he was trying to sell a cheap caravan ,car and motorbike all priced at less than 20% of real world value.

Thing was I was just trolling him as the ad was just too good to be true, Gumtree, scamming b*st*rds reported ofcourse and ad disappeared double quick.
