I've had a 28 day classified ad for my boat on Ebay running for a week. Over 1000 page views and 34 watchers. But only 1 actual enquiry who changed his mind about viewing.
Is this to be expected?
The ad cost £12.99 which seems good value.
Maybe it's the remoteness of my location? I think the price is OK.

try boats and outboards

I have had great success with boatsandoutboards s both a buyer and a seller

you can put lots of pictures of your pride and joy up there and even add a link to a phot--album

I madea short youtube film of my old trailer sailer - sold very quickly to a bloke who lived 200 miles away

There's usually also another fee charged based on a percentage of the final selling price unless you've taken that into account in the above figure?

Plus another fee charged by PayPal - where possible I always ask for a payment in cash with perhaps a small immediate deposit by PayPal for large value items.

Good luck with the sale!

No further fees with a classified ad.

Ebay has a huge coverage, if you havent had any viewings by now maybe its time to rethink the advert. Unless its something very rare or expensive then think about your advert, is it well worded, lots of pictures (link a video if possible) and plenty of information. Lastly have a look at the price, is it realistic ?

I have sold a few boats on Ebay, my last 1 within 5 days of putting the ad up.
