I think we knew he meant "bight" Searush but your marking of his text is yet again an example of a spellchecker kettle calling an innocent pot black. Look at the construction of the bit of your text quoted below: the first comma is trying in vain to separate two sentences and there's no question mark, etc. It's 10x worse than any spelling typo.

Why a bowline anyway, a clove hitch would be much better as you can tighten the loop, and a bowline doesn't let you do that.
