We have the above and need to overhaul bearings, trying to find out how to split to clean and replace bearings, also anyone know of a source for parts as Seldon done list them as available from them

IIRC the furlex bearings I have worked with were loose 1/4 inch S/S balls.

No doubt Torlon would work OK.

The bearings are open races I think. They use 316 s/s balls. Mine is larger version using 8mm balls. Super cheap to replace. Sometimes the stiffness is just grease gone hard in the races. Strip and clean and reassemble.
