Seen Her For The First Time - Pics

I have to confess to not having that consideration high on the list when we chose the new boat. I do take your point though, and will have to make a point of asking the boys at Sealine when I'm next there.

Great. I am very interested in one of these, but the engineer in me needs to think ahead.

Great pics, stunning boat, I looked one over on saturday at the Scottish boat show, and have to admit, its one of my favourite boats.

I wish you and MrsMoody many many hours of great boating with her.

Cheers

Al.

Just for Paul I've managed to upload some higher quality shots of the Green things etc

Walked past her yesterday - she's still there! I had spotted her still wrapped up and as always wondered who the lucky owner was.

Notice the sealine fuel tap system. Exactly the same as my much older boat.

You can draw fuel from just 1 tank to both engines, and return fuel to 1 tank from both engines. Great for balancing the tanks if you need to, or if 1 tank is contaminated.

But........

If you get a blocked filter, you can't draw the fuel from that tank through the other filter. Now I know that risks blocking the other filter but it's better than running out.
Had a filter block in the shipping lane off dover, fed both engines from the 1 tank to continue the journey. :) Was heading for dieppe but decided to stop a bouloigne, but even so the 1 tank wasn't enough - needed to get the spanners out and get diesel everywhere :(

If you look at your starboard fuel feed (far right) pipe I'm not sure it's even long enough to reach the port filter inlet if needs must - there was enough slack on mine.

We too are waiting for a new SC35 ordered after the Southampton Boat Show....and seeing your lovely boat has made us even more impatient. Alas we are more than a month behind you and have lost some bright autumn cruising days.
Which is the upholstery in your cockpit? Your high grade pictures has the Boss dithering about whether she made the right choice.
Could you also tell me roughly what the forward cabin TV wiring is costing you?

Congrats on new boat Croc. I'd guess the cockpit is Movida beige, but moody will confirm when he's back. Movida is a vinyl with a surface texture that makes it feel a bit like a woven cloth. Quite clever stuff.
