I’m looking for a “spare” top for my bronze sea water inlet strainer. It is a simple vertical tube type assembly with a male thread on top, to which fits a female threaded cap. I’m almost certain it’s a 1 3/4” BSP. Can’t seem to find that size anywhere.
Any ideas?853AB6FB-CFD0-4629-8CA5-1FEE892B82A0.jpegBCE7A62D-95C2-49C1-9FFA-AC827EF79628.jpeg

Are you likely to lose it? 1.75" does not appear to be a standard plumbing size, so if you want a spare you'll need to get one made or buy a used strainer just for the cap.

If it's just an emergency thing, would a section of suitably sized plumbing pipe, blanked off and with the appropriate jubilee clips work?

I’ve ordered a couple of the plastics reducers suggested above.
I intend to make up a fitting for the top of the raw water filter, to which I could attach the dinghy foot pump, to backflush the water strainer.
