Seeking Harwich ferry shipping arrivals and departures in local newspapers for 1938–1939

Given that these were LNER services it may be worthwhile asking the question on the relevant section of the rail forum?

As I understand things the train services still partially exist in the current timetable
Yes, I had joined an LNER forum, and my posting was cross-posted to a GER forum, where someone got back to me regarding the survival of a lone internal book that listed the LNER ferry arrivals and departures for just two months in 1939. I don't think I'm going to get any more information out of them, because I know that these other internal books don't exist. Hence my research angle of seeking east coast newspapers with a shipping column. Just FYI, I've already spent six months writing over 100 emails to twenty organizations, all of whom had no information.

I had joined an LNER forum, and posted there, it got cross-posted to a GER forum where someone saw it and got back to me. They had photos of the one surviving internal book kept by LNER. This book detailed the date, name, time of each of all LNER ferries arriving and departing from Parkeston Quay. However it only covered a two-month period. All the other books ended up in a rubbish skip. This was forty years ago, so I don't hold out much hope of anyone else having this information. Hence my research angle now being focused on newspapers.
