securing drop nose pin for anchor?

Hi all

I need something like one of these.
Drop Nose Pins (beachyheadmarine.com)

I'm unclear how to secure the pin using the knurled head. Is there an easy way? Or (more simply) should I be able to find a similar drop nose pin with a hole in the end to take a lanyard?

The link shows an end with a 'track round it between the 2 'flanges'. Just tie a light line round it or maybe a split ring to take a line.

I would get a different type for the anchor, or get creative with a friendly fabricator and either machine a thread or eye to the end.

Get a rigger to swage a length of SS wire with a tight loop around the head. Alternatively, get a drop nose pin with ring on the head - that’s what I use.
