secondhand boat shows

If I recall correctly, when the Southampton Boat Show is on, there should also be some secondhand boat shows in the area. Does anyone know where/when they are and what the best ones to visit are for cheapish 27-33' (I wish) sailing boats for around 15-20k?

Multihull World at Thornhan, Emsworth have a very good second hand show. Well worth a vist - might change your sailing for ever!!

Went to both Deacons' and Moody's yards last weekend Moody's was virtually empty, with nothing under circa £90K, so they've got some work to do in the next 2 weeks. Deacons was better, but most of what's there has been there for the past 2 months. My advice is to wait a while until the season has truly ended before you start searching in earnest.

At La Crouesty (entrance to the Golfe de Morbihan in S. Brittany) there is the "Mille Sabords" second hand boat show - France's largest - where there are usually literally hundreds of boats for sail. This takes place over 3 or 4 days at the end of October.

Well worth a visit if you are seriously after good value.
