Am thinking of displaying my boat at the Moody (now Premier) used boat show during the SBS. Anyone any experience of doing the same succesful or otherwise

No experience of trying to sell a boat, but I know that the show has had a huge amount of effort put into it, I'm having a stand there this year. I would have thought that it would be a good time and place to advertise

After talking to a few brokers and the organisers I've entered my S24. The £200 entry fee includes storage on the hard to the end of October if the boat is unsold, which swung it for me over the Sealine Used Boat show across the road, as well as the brokerage fee being 1% less. Apparently they have 'hundreds' of visitors each day, so I hope some are looking for an S24!!!

Hi,

I have entered our 24ft Sailing boat into the Moodys show as well. One thing to consider is pricing. The more reasonable it is, the more chance of a sale as a lot of people have a fixed budget and look for the maximum for their money!
