Can anybody suggest where I might get hold of a wiring diagram for a Seavoice RT 550 VHF radio set. I'm currently trying to connect an external speaker but looking at the rear of the set I couldn't determine what the connector type is for the speaker output. Also would like to determine from a wiring diagram what I need to do so that I can switch between internal and external speaker output (assuming that the standard wiring will not permit dual speaker operation).

Many thanks

Usually the speaker output on radios is a 3.5 mm jack plug and the socket is arranged to switch off the internal speaker when the extension speaker is plugged in.

Some radios have additional sockets for a loud hailer function so might need to identify which is which.
