Anyone know where I can get this?

Having had a problem some years ago with a chartered boat on the French canals, I think it would be a good idea to carry some on board for topping up if needed (hopefully unlikely).

I bought some recently from Wills Marine who deal in new and used boats and outboards. They didn't stock it but the very helpful engineer there decanted some from their workshop stock.

I got around 0.5 litre but it's only for the odd top up.

Edit - Just to mention I am local to the OP and if he does decide Wills are the easiest source - call them first!

Although i expect to be shot for sacrilege ATF Dexron 2 works just fine. Some will say it attacks the seals, but not in my experience.

Alternatively an ISO 15 centistoke hydraulic oil e.g. Aero hydraulic fluid will work just fine too.

My understanding is that seastar/Baystar recommended ATF II or III until a few years ago when they then said only their own brand....but ATF ok in an emergency??

I used ATF and never had an issue either.
