I can't say it often enough. Everyone cocks up from time to time. I had a cock up myself from a very large and prestigeous sailmaker of international repute as I said previously. It took them 3 attempts to get it right. I feel that if Kemps had been given the opportunity they would have too. They were not as the customer never went back to them saying he was still, even after their comments and suggestions, still having problems. I really do wish they would have the balls to say so and stop all this.

Don't care where you are mate. It does no service to either your argument or the forum generally to start a new thread stating the blindingly bleeding obvious from miles away with no experience of the company in question when there is another thread already going on the same subject.
 
Its all well and good you lot arguing about who said what.

The thread was about a sail maker, I'm still looking for one.

What about Lucas, Sobstad, Hood, North?
 
OK wrong target, sorry. I was referring to the original thread. I still think one thread on this subject is enough though. So far we have had three and I don't think this one has moved the argument forward at all as its a repeat of what has already been said before.

at the end of the day the manufacturers are on a hiding to nothing getting involved on here. Over the years some individuals have come out well but even then they have had to admit that you can't win all the arguments and issues thrown at them to the satisfaction of all the 'complainents'.

I missed the original post as I spent a long weekend on the boat, don;t have any experience of Kemp sails but have been around long enough to realise that this is a very small world in this market and if customer satisfaction isn't delivered consistently you go outr of business - the bars were even more efficent communication devices for this sort of stuff than the internet!
 
How about Westaway? Have just had a Genoa delivered from them. No probs in getting this one to set. Let's see how it performs in time
